Ogunmodede Aims for CAF Champions League Glory with Remo Stars
Remo Stars head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, has declared his ambition to lead the club to victory in the CAF Champions League.
Ogunmodede recently guided Remo Stars to their historic first Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title, marking a significant milestone for the club.
With the league win, Remo Stars secured a spot in next season’s CAF Champions League, which will be their second appearance in the continental tournament. The club previously crashed out in the first round during their debut outing.
“Personally, as Remo Stars coach today, my goal is to win the CAF Champions League,” Ogunmodede said in an interview with Super FM.
Daily Post notes that Enyimba remains the only Nigerian club to have won the CAF Champions League.
