Ogun gov appoints 2026 Amirul Hajj, names Muslim welfare board chair
Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has approved key appointments ahead of the 2026 Hajj exercise, naming Alhaji Shamsudeen Apelogun as the Amirul Hajj for the state.
The governor also appointed a new chairman for the Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, as part of efforts to strengthen the planning and coordination of pilgrimage activities.
