President Bola Tinubu has stated that no nation can achieve sustainable growth or long-term development without deliberate and consistent investment in its youth population.

Tinubu made the remark while speaking on the importance of youth empowerment, stressing that young people remain the driving force behind innovation, economic growth, and national stability.

According to the president, governments must prioritise education, skills acquisition, entrepreneurship, and employment opportunities to fully harness the potential of the country’s youths.

“No nation can thrive without investing in its youths. They are the backbone of our future, and empowering them is not optional but a necessity,” Tinubu said.

He noted that his administration is committed to creating policies and programmes aimed at equipping young Nigerians with the tools required to compete globally, particularly in technology, agriculture, and the creative industry.

The president also urged private sector stakeholders to collaborate with government in expanding opportunities for young people, adding that meaningful youth engagement would help reduce unemployment, insecurity, and social vices.

Tinubu reaffirmed that investing in youths remains central to his administration’s vision for economic revitalisation and inclusive national development.
