NEW POWER MINISTER MAKES BIG PROMISE: NIGERIANS WILL SOON SEE RESULTS
Nigeria’s newly sworn-in Minister of Power, Joseph Tegbe, has assured Nigerians that significant reforms are underway to transform the electricity sector and improve power supply across the country.
Speaking shortly after assuming office, Tegbe pledged to build on existing initiatives while introducing new measures aimed at tackling longstanding challenges in electricity generation, transmission, and distribution.
The minister said his administration would focus on delivering visible results, attracting investment, strengthening infrastructure, and improving access to reliable power for households and businesses.
According to him, early gains have already been recorded in some areas, but more work remains to ensure that Nigerians experience meaningful improvements in electricity supply.
Tegbe also emphasized the importance of collaboration with industry stakeholders, private investors, and state governments to accelerate reforms and unlock the full potential of the power sector.
His remarks come at a time when many Nigerians are demanding lasting solutions to frequent outages, high energy costs, and inadequate electricity supply.
