NEDC donates palliatives to Borno bomb blast victims
The North-East Development Commission (NEDC) has provided relief materials and financial support to victims of recent bomb blasts in parts of Borno State.
The intervention covered affected communities in Konduga, Kukawa and Gwoza, where residents received food items, building materials and cash assistance to help them recover from the attacks.
Officials said the gesture is part of ongoing efforts to support victims of insurgency and humanitarian crises in the North-East, with a focus on rebuilding lives and restoring affected communities.
The commission emphasised its commitment to working with relevant authorities and partners to provide timely assistance and improve living conditions in the region.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the support, noting that the aid would help ease their immediate challenges and support rebuilding efforts.
Observers say such interventions remain critical in addressing the humanitarian impact of insecurity and fostering resilience in affected communities.
