Minister of Power debunks resignation rumours
The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has dismissed reports circulating on some media platforms suggesting that he has resigned from his position.
In a statement, the minister described the claims as false and misleading, urging the public to disregard the rumours. He reaffirmed his commitment to his duties, stating that he remains fully focused on addressing challenges in Nigeria’s power sector.
Adelabu also emphasised that his priority is to work with relevant stakeholders to improve electricity generation, transmission and distribution across the country.
The clarification comes amid ongoing efforts by the government to stabilise power supply and implement reforms aimed at strengthening the sector.
