Kwara PDP Ward Chairman, Two Others Killed in Gunmen Attack

Tragedy struck in Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara State as unknown gunmen killed three people, including a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ward chairman, and abducted a 12-year-old girl in separate attacks on Wednesday.
The victims include Alhaji Abdullahi Shehu, chairman of the PDP in Lade Ward, his 22-year-old son Abdullahi Muhammad, and a local resident Timothy Paul, aged 35.
According to the Kwara State Police Command, the attacks occurred in the early hours of June 25 in Mari and Lile villages. The assailants first attacked Mari village around 1:30 a.m., where Timothy Paul was shot dead. They then moved to Lile village, where they killed Alhaji Shehu and his son.
