Joshua Flies Back to UK After Fatal Crash

World heavyweight boxing star Anthony Joshua has returned to the United Kingdom after surviving a tragic car crash in Nigeria that claimed the lives of two of his close friends.

The accident occurred earlier this week while Joshua was in the country on a private visit. Reports indicate that the vehicle he was travelling in was involved in a serious collision, resulting in the death of two occupants. Joshua, who was also in the vehicle, sustained only minor injuries and was later discharged after receiving medical attention.

Sources close to the boxer confirmed that following medical clearance and consultations with family and advisers, Joshua departed Nigeria for the UK to rest and recover.

The Ogun State Police Command has since confirmed that investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are ongoing, with the driver of the vehicle already taken into custody for questioning.

Joshua is said to be deeply shaken by the incident and has expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and prayers from fans around the world.
