It has been a blessed year for award-winning singer, Davido who celebrated his 31st birthday days back.
Taking to his Instagram page to share new photos of him in a suit, he expressed gratitude to the public for the love they showered on him. Counting his blessings, he noted how this year has been filled with so many wins.
Davido thanked his family, as he hoped for the next year to be greater.
“Another birthday in the books — thankful for all the amazing love around me and how this year has been filled with so many wins.

Benco news reported that Davido turned 31 on Wednesday, and shared a collage of photos of him, his wife, and his newborn twins. In one of the photos, Davido was seen kissing his wife, Chioma at his just concluded Away Festival. In another post, Davido was captured holding his twins while in the hospital with a smile.
The singer expressed gratitude to God for his blessings.
The likes of Isreal DMW, Queen Mercy, Kie Kie, Bukola Adeeyo, Nkechi Blessing, Obi Cubana’s wife, Teddy A, and more took to his comment section to celebrate with him.
The singer held a private birthday dinner in Atlanta to celebrate him, which included his wife, close friends, and family.
Davido has several reasons to be grateful for this year, which came with several blessings.
The singer, made his comeback to the music industry after taking a break following his son’s death, with the release of his album, Timelines which now has over a billion streams.
His new album has brought the singer more recognition and has made him a Grammy nominee. Kemi Filani reported that Timeless bagged 3 nominations for Best Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Global Music Album at the 2024 Grammy.
Speaking on his nomination, Davido affirmed that delay isn’t denial, especially since his contemporaries, Burna Boy and Wizkid have been recognized by the academy.
Also, a day in the US has been dedicated to him, after he shut down the city of Texas, Houston with his sold-out concert.
The Mayor of Houston had declared every July 7 ‘Davido’s Day’, as he commended him for his significant contributions to the music industry.
The Federal Government had also conferred him with a national honor award, Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).
Topping it off, is the birth of his twins with wife, Chioma Rowland Adeleke. The couple welcomed another bundle of joy after losing their son, Ifeanyi in October, the same birth month as Ifeanyi.
Speaking on his twins’ birth, the music star, revealed how he and Chioma found out about the news, which left them shaking.
