Some fans even went as far as to suggest that Asake might now surpass Wizkid in terms of popularity, crowning him as the biggest artist in Nigeria.

 

Moreover, the recognition he received extended beyond social media. In July of 2023, Asake’s talent and hard work were acknowledged when he received a nomination for the prestigious Headies award. Fast forward to September, and he managed to secure several of the awards he was nominated for, including the coveted title of Best New Artist.
