Governor Adeleke Denies Defection Rumors, Reaffirms Commitment To PDP

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has firmly dismissed claims suggesting he plans to defect from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Speaking during a strategic meeting with PDP leaders held at the Banquet Hall of the Government House in Osogbo on Wednesday, Governor Adeleke described the rumors as baseless and the handiwork of political opponents threatened by the state’s progress under his administration.
Addressing party elders and key stakeholders, Adeleke stated, “My people, party elders and chiefs, I declare before you today that I am not defecting to APC or any other political party. I remain in PDP. Ignore any fake news.”
The meeting brought together top PDP figures in Osun State, with former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola joining the session virtually to lend his support.
Adeleke reaffirmed his loyalty to the PDP, assuring party members of his continued dedication to advancing the party’s vision and delivering on his mandate to the people of Osun.
