Gombe Governor Signs Bill Creating 13 New LCDAs
Governor Muhammadu Yahaya of Gombe State has signed into law a bill establishing 13 new Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs).
He described it as a “historic moment” that will bring governance closer to the people and make it more responsive.
The bill, passed unanimously by the Gombe State House of Assembly, increases the state’s grassroots administrative units to 24, complementing the existing 11 LGAs.
