Former Agriculture Minister Audu Ogbeh Dies at 78
Former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and ex-National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Audu Ogbeh, has passed away at the age of 78.
According to a statement from his family, Ogbeh died peacefully on Saturday, August 9, 2025.
“It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather,” the family said. “He lived a fulfilled life, leaving behind a legacy of integrity, service, and dedication to the nation and his community. We are comforted by the many lives he touched and the example he set.”
The family added that details of the funeral arrangements will be made public in due course and requested privacy during the mourning period.
