FLICK REVEALS WHY BARCELONA LOST 4-3 TO INTER MILAN

Barcelona manager, Hansi Flick, has offered his thoughts on why his team fell 4-3 to Inter Milan in a dramatic UEFA Champions League semi-final second-leg clash on Tuesday night.
Inter took a 2-0 lead at halftime through goals from Lautaro Martinez and Hakan Calhanoglu. But Barcelona fought back after the break, with Eric Garcia and Dani Olmo drawing them level before Raphinha put the visitors ahead.
However, Francesco Acerbi responded swiftly for Inter, forcing the match into extra time. The decisive moment came when Davide Frattesi scored in the first half of extra time, sending Inter through to the final.
Reacting after the match, Flick praised his team’s effort but acknowledged Inter’s quality.
“I am very disappointed that we are out – but I am not disappointed about the performance of my team. They tried everything,” he said.
He credited Inter’s defensive strength and attacking threat: “They defended well, and they have a really good striker. Inter are a strong team.”
Flick concluded with optimism, vowing that Barcelona will bounce back: “We are out, but next year we will start again and we will make our fans, the club, and everyone around us happy.”
