FG Vows Justice for Worshippers Killed in Katsina
The Federal Government has condemned the recent killing of worshippers in Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State, describing the attack as “callous and barbaric.”
In a statement on Friday, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, assured Nigerians that security forces were already pursuing the perpetrators and would ensure they face justice.
“Security forces are on the trail of the criminals, and no stone will be left unturned until they are apprehended and held accountable. Justice will be swift and decisive, and such acts of terror will never be allowed to take root in the country,” the Minister stated.
The government described the assault as not only a crime against the people of Malumfashi but also an “attack on Nigeria’s shared humanity and values.”
President Bola Tinubu also extended condolences to the families of the victims, the Malumfashi community, and the Katsina State Government.
