Ex-Manchester United boss stakes claim for Super Eagles coaching job
Former Manchester United youth coach, Jonathan Hill is interested in the Super Eagles coaching job.
Former international, Augustine Eguavoen recently guided the Super Eagles to 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualification.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is however still keen on appointing an expatriate to tinker the team.
Hill recently left his role as assistant coach of Rotherham United.
The gaffer has already submitted his application to the NFF.
“This is a role I very much fancy because of its demanding nature and the push to deliver top results,” Hill told Sports Boom.
“I’ve always known Nigerian players to be athletic, technical, and full of energy.
“There’s a great talent pool here, and I believe in nurturing young players who fit the team’s philosophy.”
