Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has spoken about his strong self-belief and determination to succeed in life, saying he is convinced he would have achieved success even if he had not pursued a career in football.

The Nigerian forward made the remarks while reflecting on his personal journey from a challenging upbringing to becoming one of Africa’s most celebrated footballers. According to him, resilience, discipline and faith in his abilities have been key factors behind his rise to global prominence.

Osimhen also discussed his experience playing for Turkish side Galatasaray, describing the club’s supporters and environment as special. He noted that the passion of the fans and the strong sense of unity within the team have contributed positively to his performance and confidence on the pitch.

The striker emphasised the importance of hard work and focus, encouraging young people to remain committed to their goals regardless of the obstacles they may face. He added that success is not limited to sports, but can be achieved in any field through persistence and determination.

Football analysts say Osimhen’s comments highlight the mental strength and motivation that have defined his career, as he continues to play a leading role for both club and country.
