Enugu Ex-Guber Candidate Ogbodo Urges Opposition Coalition to Rescue Nigeria

Ray Kene Ogbodo, the 2023 governorship candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in Enugu State, has praised the new opposition coalition for adopting the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as its platform.
In a statement issued through his media aide, Mr. Azubuike Akam, Ogbodo described the movement as a necessary step to tackle hunger, insecurity, bad governance, and poor leadership, ultimately moving Nigeria forward.
He urged Nigerians not to lose hope, expressing confidence that if the coalition wins power by 2027, it would bring meaningful change.
“Within the group, there are notable individuals who will hold each other accountable. Some have been there before, made mistakes, and now want to do it better,” he noted.
Ogbodo added that the coalition’s vision aligns with his own and pledged to support any policy aimed at lifting Nigerians out of poverty. He praised the inaugural speech of ADC’s Acting National Chairman, Senator David Mark, calling it “hopeful, inspiring, powerful, and magnificent.”
Calling on Nigerians of goodwill to support the coalition, Ogbodo emphasized that no single party or individual could defeat the APC-led government without the people’s deliberate backing.
