Emir of Gusau, Ibrahim Bello, Dies at 71

The Emir of Gusau, Dr. Ibrahim Bello, has passed away at the age of 71 after a prolonged illness. He died on Friday in Abuja.
His death was confirmed by Sulaiman Idris, spokesperson to Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal. In a heartfelt tribute, the governor described the late Emir as a dependable monarch and a guiding father figure, praising his contributions to the peace and development of Zamfara State.
Appointed in March 2015 following the death of his father, Ibrahim Bello served as the 16th Emir of Gusau, holding the throne for over a decade. His reign was marked by active involvement in the socio-cultural affairs of the state.
Governor Lawal prayed for Allah’s mercy on the Emir’s soul and for him to be granted Aljannah (Paradise).
