Eid-el-Fitr: APC urges Nigerians to sustain prayers for peace, unity

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on Nigerians to continue offering prayers for peace, unity and national progress as Muslim faithful celebrate Eid-el-Fitr across the country.

In a goodwill message marking the end of the Ramadan fast, the ruling party encouraged citizens to uphold the virtues of compassion, charity, tolerance and obedience that define the holy month. It noted that sustained commitment to these values would help strengthen social harmony and promote collective development.

The APC also urged Nigerians to use the festive period to support one another, particularly the less privileged, and to foster a spirit of togetherness irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.

According to party leaders, national unity and peaceful coexistence remain critical to addressing socio-economic challenges and advancing democratic governance. They emphasised the need for citizens and leaders alike to work collaboratively in building a stable and prosperous society.

The party further expressed optimism that continued prayers and constructive engagement among stakeholders would contribute to improved security, economic growth and national cohesion.

The APC concluded by wishing Muslims a joyful Eid celebration and encouraging all Nigerians to remain hopeful and committed to the shared goal of a stronger nation.
