Coalition won’t be easy, but we’re ready – David Mark

Senator David Mark, newly unveiled as the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has admitted that the opposition coalition’s mission to unseat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections will be difficult.
Speaking on Wednesday at the Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja, during the formal launch of the ADC as the united platform for opposition parties, Mark stressed that the coalition is driven by the need to rebuild Nigeria and avoid sliding into a one-party state.
> “We are under no illusion that it will be an easy task. However, we are ready to embark on this journey as a sacrifice for our fatherland,” he said.
Mark described the effort as the start of a long, difficult, and tedious journey focused on Nigeria’s survival and progress beyond simply winning power.
