Close ranks to win governorship poll, lawmaker urges APC leaders
Remi Oseni, House of Reps member for Ibarapa East/Ido (Oyo State), urged APC leaders to unite ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
Said unity will help the APC reclaim Oyo from PDP and secure more Federal Government projects.
He spoke at the launch of the Remi Oseni Committee of Friends (ROCOF) in Ido LGA, after a similar launch in Ibarapa East.
Emphasized: “Our mission is clear in 2027 — Oyo must speak with one voice for President Tinubu, and APC must return to power.”
Stressed ROCOF is not a rival structure but a grassroots movement for justice, equity, and accountability.
Promised scholarships for indigent students (full university sponsorship for those with 5 A’s in WAEC and admission).
Plans to launch a Food Bank initiative.
Called on stakeholders — traditional rulers, traders, farmers, and youths — to rally behind the APC.
