CLERIC CALLS FOR UNITED FRONT AGAINST KIDNAPPERS, CRIMINALS
Renowned cleric, Sam Olu-Alo, has called on political leaders, traditional rulers, security agencies, and residents of the South-West to unite in the fight against rising insecurity across the region.
The respected religious leader expressed concern over the increasing cases of kidnapping, banditry, and other criminal activities, warning that the security situation requires urgent and collective action.
According to him, no single individual or institution can successfully tackle insecurity alone, stressing that cooperation among stakeholders is essential to protecting lives and property.
Olu-Alo urged community leaders to strengthen local vigilance, support security agencies with credible intelligence, and promote peace and unity among residents.
He also called on governments at all levels to intensify efforts to address the root causes of crime while ensuring that criminal elements are decisively dealt with.
The cleric maintained that unity, vigilance, and collective responsibility remain critical to restoring peace and safeguarding communities across the South-West.
