Champions League: Again? – Guardiola Reacts As Haaland Breaks Another Record
Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has reacted to Erling Haaland becoming the fastest player to score 40 goals in the Champions League.
Haaland’s strike in the 3-2 comeback win over RB Leipzig on Tuesday night, saw City clinch top spot in Group G.
It took Haaland just 35 matches to reach 40 goals, smashing Ruud van Nistelrooy’s mark of 45 games.
He also broke the record for the youngest player to hit 40 in the Champions League at 23 years and 130 days, besting a previous mark set by PSG star Kylian Mbappé.

“Again? I have to tell you again?” Guardiola laughed, when asked for comment.
“A thousand million times, I’m really impressed. They won today. Another record. Congratulations. He’s a fantastic player. I tell you many times, we’re really, really pleased.
“We love him, not just for the goals he scores, but for many many other things.”
