Ballon d’Or 2023: Number Of Points Scored By Osimhen Revealed As Nigeria Shunned Napoli Star, Voted For Messi
Number of votes scored by Victor Osimhen in the just concluded Ballon d’Or ceremony has been revealed.
It’s no longer news that the 24-year-old finished eighth best player in the world in the 2023 Ballon d’Or ranking.
Only Lionel Messi, Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe, Kevin De Bruyne, Rodri, Vinicius Junior and Alvarez are judged to have performed better than the Nigerian in the year in review.

It also appeared that Nigeria did not vote for Osimhen to win the award but opted for Lionel Messi, who won his record-extending eighth award.
Victor Osimhen was only able to score 24 votes, coming behind Alvarez on 28 , Vinicius Junior on 49 and Rodri on 57 points.
