APC Chairmanship: North Central Youths Lobby Akpabio to Back Sani Musa

A coalition of youth groups from over 1,000 APC support organisations in North Centrahas announced plans to send a 100-man delegation to Senate President Godswill Akpabio to lobby for Senator Mohammed Sani Musa as the next National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The decision was made during an emergency strategy meeting in Lafia, Nasarawa State, where youth leaders discussed the political direction of the region ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a communiqué signed by Dan Okwa, convener of the North Central APC Youth Vanguard, the coalition reaffirmed its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid, saying the APC needs strong, youthful, and experienced leadership to succeed.
> “North Central must not just be heard — we must be visibly represented at the top of party leadership,” the statement read.
The coalition described Senator Sani Musa, who currently represents Niger East and chairs the Senate Committee on Finance, as a loyal, visionary, and grassroots-oriented leader capable of stabilising and repositioning the APC for victory.
