AFCON 2023: Super Eagles hit milestone against Guinea-Bissau
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will play their 100th game at the Africa Cup of Nations when they take on Guinea-Bissau at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium on Monday.
The three-time African champions will be the fourth team to reach this important milestone in the history of AFCON.

Seven-time champions, Egypt led the chart with 109 games, Ghana are in second position with 104 matches, while hosts Cote d’Ivoire have played 101 matches.
Nigeria’s first game at the AFCON was on November 24, 1963, when they lost 6-3 to Egypt in Kumasi.
The Super Eagles played their 50th AFCON game on home soil against the Teranga Lions of Senegal in 2000.
They won the pulsating quarter-final tie 2-1 after extra time.
