Adeleke Fulfils Promise, Appoints Puff-Puff Seller as Chef, Grants Scholarship

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has fulfilled his promise to a young street puff-puff vendor, Ms. Oluwatosin Adejumo, by appointing her as a chef at the Osun State Government House.

Ms. Adejumo, who had been selling puff-puff by the roadside in Osogbo, came into the spotlight during a recent labour rally when Governor Adeleke stopped by to interact with traders and workers. Impressed by her hard work and determination, the governor promised to support her.

True to his word, Governor Adeleke not only offered her an appointment as a chef in the Government House but also awarded her an educational scholarship to further her studies.

Speaking on the development, Adeleke described Ms. Adejumo as a symbol of resilience and ambition, noting that his administration is committed to uplifting hardworking youths and creating opportunities for growth.

He added that her story should inspire young people across Osun State to pursue their dreams, assuring that his government would continue to invest in youth empowerment, education, and job creation.

Ms. Adejumo, who expressed her gratitude, said the governor had changed her life completely. She pledged to make good use of the opportunity and encouraged other youths not to give up, regardless of their current challenges.
