ADC Congress: ‘We won’t allow INEC to derail our programmes’ — Nwosu
A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ralph Nwosu, has said the party will go ahead with its planned congresses and national convention despite ongoing challenges involving the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Nwosu stated that the party remains resolute in its plans and will not allow any external interference to disrupt its internal processes.
According to him, the ADC is committed to strengthening its structures and ensuring that its congresses and convention are conducted as scheduled, in line with its constitution.
He also addressed the party’s leadership crisis, expressing confidence that internal issues will be resolved through dialogue and adherence to due process.
The ADC chieftain emphasised the importance of party cohesion and urged members to remain focused as preparations for the 2027 elections intensify.
Observers say the development highlights ongoing tensions between political parties and the electoral body, as well as internal efforts by parties to stabilise ahead of upcoming political activities.
