Abia holds state burial for cleric Uma Ukpai

The Abia State Government has held a state burial in honour of renowned evangelist, Rev. Uma Ukpai, who passed away at the age of 80.

The solemn ceremony drew dignitaries, religious leaders, government officials and members of the public who gathered to pay their final respects to the late cleric, widely regarded for his contributions to Christian evangelism and humanitarian outreach.

Speaking at the event, state officials described Ukpai as a spiritual leader whose influence extended beyond Nigeria, noting that his ministry impacted lives across continents through preaching, charity and community development initiatives.
