Kebbi Governor Appoints New District Head for Dutsin-Mari

The Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has approved the appointment of Bello Marafa Besse as the new District Head of Baraden Dutsin-Mari in Koko-Besse Local Government Area.

The appointment follows the passing of the former District Head, Alhaji Muhammad Mualliyadi.

Announcing the decision in Birnin Kebbi on Wednesday, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Garba Dutsin-Mari, said the move was made to ensure continuity in leadership and to strengthen traditional institutions.

He congratulated the new district head and urged him to prioritize peace, unity, and development in the community.

“The governor’s decision reflects his respect for tradition and his commitment to grassroots development,” the commissioner noted.

In his response, Bello Marafa Besse thanked the governor for the confidence reposed in him and promised to serve his people with humility and dedication.
