TINUBU RESTORING STABILITY, HOPE TO NIGERIA – OKOWA

Former Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has praised President Bola Tinubu, saying his administration is gradually restoring stability and giving Nigerians renewed hope despite the country’s economic and security challenges.
Okowa stated this while speaking with journalists in Asaba on Monday. He noted that although the reforms introduced by the Federal Government have been painful, they were necessary steps to stabilise the economy and rebuild confidence in governance.
“President Tinubu is restoring stability and hope to our dear nation. The country was passing through difficult times, but some of the bold reforms we are seeing today are laying the foundation for a stronger economy. We must commend that courage,” Okowa said.
The former governor urged Nigerians to be patient with the government, stressing that the positive impact of the reforms would take time to manifest. He also called on political leaders across party lines to support the President in the interest of national unity and development.
On insecurity, Okowa said recent military operations had recorded gains in curbing banditry and terrorism, describing it as proof that the administration was determined to safeguard citizens.
He further appealed to Nigerians not to lose hope, noting that the resilience of the people, combined with the government’s ongoing efforts, would help restore the country’s glory.
