FG Reaffirms South-East as Key Focus of Tinubu’s Agenda

The Federal Government has assured that the South-East remains central to President Bola Tinubu’s development vision and governance agenda.

Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, gave the assurance on Thursday during a citizens’ engagement forum in Enugu State. The event formed part of a three-day tour of Enugu and Ebonyi states, where a federal delegation is interacting with residents and inspecting ongoing projects in the region.

Idris stressed that the era of any part of Nigeria being treated with neglect is over, adding that the Tinubu administration is committed to fairness, inclusion, and balanced development.

“To address concerns of marginalisation, the President has established new development commissions for previously uncovered zones, ensuring that no region is left behind,” the minister said.

He highlighted that equitable appointments and project distribution already reflect the President’s inclusive leadership style. According to him, by the end of Tinubu’s first term, the impact of ongoing reforms will be more visible across the country.
