“Forget new year resolutions; if you don’t work, you won’t see shishi” Daniel Regha
Daniel Regha recently took to Twitter to share some nuggets with those who attended church services and went into the new year with prophetic declarations.
Regha minced no words, expressing the importance of hard work over relying solely on declarations and prophecies. He stressed that success in 2024 hinges on rolling up one’s sleeves and putting in the effort.

Regha urged people to set realistic plans, hinting that the upcoming year might not be a smooth walk. His also wished everyone a happy new year and extended his best wishes.
“Farget ur church’s New-year prophetic declarations, if u don’t work this 2024 u won’t see shishi; Also plan urself properly, u can see how the APC govt is ruling. Once again, happy new-year to everyone & best wishes.”
Recall that during the festive season, Kemi Filani had reported that Daniel Regha didn’t hold back when criticizing couples who shared pictures in matching PJs for Christmas. Calling out what he perceived as contrived poses, he argued that authenticity was lacking in these snapshots. However, he concluded his critique with a disclaimer, clarifying that his comments weren’t meant as shade but rather as an honest opinion.
Weeks before, in the early days of December, Regha had also taken aim at Nigerian women advocating for feminism. While acknowledging the importance of gender equality, he pointed out what he saw as a contradiction: some of these same women, during the festive season, expected men to bear the financial burdens, particularly around Christmas. Regha highlighted the irony of demanding equal rights while relying on men to cover expenses like weeks and handbags.
