First Lady’s Delegation Condoles With Kogi Gov Over Father’s Death

A delegation representing Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has paid a condolence visit to the Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Ododo, following the death of his father, Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani.
Alhaji Momohsani passed away on August 18 and was buried the next day in accordance with Islamic rites.
The delegation, led by Hajiya Laila Barau, wife of the Deputy Senate President, commiserated with the governor, his family, and the people of Kogi State. She described the loss as painful but noted that the late patriarch lived a fulfilled life and left behind a worthy legacy.
The team included wives of state governors, ministers’ spouses, and senior federal government officials. They offered prayers for Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings and grant him Aljannah Firdaus.
Members of the delegation included the wives of the governors of Yobe and Ebonyi States, as well as the spouses of the Ministers of Works, Agriculture and Food Security, Defence, and Budget and National Planning.
