Senator Ali Ndume has called on the Federal Government to urgently locate Brigadier General Musa Uba, the Commander of the 25 Brigade, who was declared missing during an operation in Borno. He urged security agencies to intensify search efforts and provide clear updates to Nigerians.

Ndume, who represents Borno South, lamented the growing anxiety among residents and military families, stressing that the disappearance of such a senior officer highlights the severity of insecurity in the region.

He insisted that government must treat the matter with utmost priority, saying General Uba should be found “dead or alive,” and that those responsible must be brought to justice.

The senator also urged the military hierarchy to strengthen field intelligence and ensure that frontline commanders are adequately supported during operations to prevent similar incidents.
