An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain has commended Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, for the peaceful conduct of the party’s ward and local government congresses across the state, describing the exercise as orderly and transparent.

The party stalwart noted that the smooth organisation of the congresses reflected strong leadership and effective coordination among party stakeholders, adding that the process helped to strengthen unity within the APC in Ogun State ahead of future political activities.

Speaking with journalists after the exercise, the chieftain praised members for their maturity and commitment to maintaining peace throughout the congress period. According to him, the absence of major disputes or violence demonstrated the growing political stability within the party structure in the state.

He further stated that Governor Abiodun’s inclusive approach to party administration had encouraged broad participation among members, ensuring that different interests were fairly represented during the congresses.

The APC leader also urged party faithful to sustain the spirit of cooperation and avoid actions that could create division, emphasising that unity remains key to the party’s continued success in Ogun State and beyond.

Observers say the peaceful conduct of the congresses may boost confidence among party supporters as preparations continue for upcoming political engagements.
