Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has called on Nigerian youths to rise above frustration and take an active role in shaping the countryโ€™s future.
He said young people must not give up hope or remain passive observers at a time when Nigeria needs their energy, ideas, and courage.

Abubakar made the appeal on Monday while delivering a keynote address at the commemoration of the 28th anniversary of the death of Shehu Musa Yarโ€™Adua, the former chief of staff and a respected pro-democracy figure. He described the late Yarโ€™Adua as a symbol of sacrifice, unity, and national purposeโ€”qualities he believes young Nigerians must emulate.

He stressed that the nationโ€™s challenges require dialogue, understanding, and collective resolve, urging youths to help rebuild trust, strengthen democracy, and work toward a more united Nigeria.
