Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has said agriculture remains a cornerstone of the Federal Governmentโ€™s renewed hope agenda, describing it as central to Nigeriaโ€™s national economic transformation and inclusive prosperity.

Speaking on Thursday while declaring open the 47th National Council on Agriculture and Food Security meeting at the Umaru Musa Yarโ€™Adua Conference Centre in Kaduna, Sani highlighted the Federal Governmentโ€™s commitment to driving growth through agricultural reforms.

He said, โ€œThe Federal Governmentโ€™s policies on mechanisation, value-chain integration, input accessibility, and rural infrastructure are rekindling optimism and laying a firm foundation for economic growth.โ€

The governor reiterated that the agricultural sector has the potential to accelerate job creation, ensure food security, and strengthen the nationโ€™s economy if fully harnessed.
