Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has said agriculture remains a cornerstone of the Federal Government’s renewed hope agenda, describing it as central to Nigeria’s national economic transformation and inclusive prosperity.

Speaking on Thursday while declaring open the 47th National Council on Agriculture and Food Security meeting at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Conference Centre in Kaduna, Sani highlighted the Federal Government’s commitment to driving growth through agricultural reforms.

He said, “The Federal Government’s policies on mechanisation, value-chain integration, input accessibility, and rural infrastructure are rekindling optimism and laying a firm foundation for economic growth.”

The governor reiterated that the agricultural sector has the potential to accelerate job creation, ensure food security, and strengthen the nation’s economy if fully harnessed.
